Personal, Non-Commercial Use

MSR is operated for personal use and community enjoyment only. The site is not run as a money-making business, does not sell listener information, and does not use listener data for commercial resale.

Information We May Collect

When you use MSR, our hosting and service providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, timestamps, and country or approximate region inferred from network information. MSR does not request precise device location.

If you use chat, requests, support, or email links, we may receive the anonymous authentication identifier, nickname, public chat message and reactions, optional avatar/photo, song request, email address, or details you choose to send. Push notification subscription identifiers are used only for station alerts you choose to enable.

How We Use It

We use information to provide the stream, run chat and request features, respond to listener messages, prevent abuse, understand site performance, and keep Manila Sound Radio reliable.

We do not sell listener information or use it for targeted advertising. We disclose data only to service providers needed to operate MSR (including Netlify, Supabase, streaming, email, and web-push services), when you intentionally make information public in chat, or when required for safety or law enforcement.

Community Features

Chat nicknames, avatars, messages, replies, and reactions are public to other listeners. Please do not share private personal information. MSR uses an automatically created anonymous service session to operate chat; it is not a public profile or a verified identity.

Security, Retention & Deletion

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Chat and request data is kept only as long as reasonably needed to operate and moderate the service; safety records may be retained when required to prevent abuse or comply with law. You may request deletion of your chat identity and associated content from inside the app using the email link below or from this public page. Include your nickname and approximate message times so we can locate the data.
